 For those of you who do not know me, let me introduce myself.
My name is Eric Anderson and I am the owner of EAMotorsports.
I have been racing RC Cars for 15 years now and building motors
at big races for a previous sponsor (Putnam Propulsion) for the last three years.
During this time the motors I hand tuned, using Putnams blue/green combo, have won 11 national titles.
I have finally decided to
start my own motor business and build the same quality motors that I
have in the past. Each motor will be hand tuned and tested by me. If
the motor wouldn’t meet my requirements to go in my car for a race it
will not be sold as a team motor.
Each motor will receive the following treatment:
- Magnets zapped to full saturation level using a magnet zapper.
- Armatures trued with a diamond bit lathe.
- Armature shafts polished.
- Armatures shimmed to center of magnetic field.
- Bushings polished and honed for minimum resistance.
- Brush hoods aligned for proper brush contact.
- High performance motor brushes soldered and springs tweaked for maximum performance.
- The motors are then dyno tuned using a CE Turbo dyno with print out included in each motor.
I
will be offering stock motors and machine wound 19 turn motors. With
the possibility of more products in the very near future. As
a racer I encourage you to check your local hobby shops for my products
